I thought people might need a chair that would look at home in a field or in a cave and so the Rock Chair was born. Hand chiseled from a sculptie. The chair is available in the usual places for 1L$. Enjoy!

So the house is up and essentially to my satisfaction, at least for the time being. I still have to fix the elevator and I want to install a doorbell/visitor announcement system. I also need to decorate… it looks pretty bare right now. But Dabu Estate (name to change soon) is open to the public and the shop (no name for that yet) will be open any day.
Yay!
Lot 14 in the Caledon Highlands is now officially mine! I’m not sure what I’ll call it yet, but stop by and say hello, I’ll probably be there building my first home.
Yay!
I have been looking for some space to rent in Caledon for the last week or so, and finally happened upon an available lot. A magnificently beautiful piece of land edged on a cliff over the sea.

It is in the lavishly wonderful region of Caledon Highlands, and is hopefully mine now (due to some confusion, I’m not quite sure if it is actually mine yet…)

I have wonderful hopes for a country castle and workshop, with a little space dedicated to my first (finally) in world shop.
Now to wait and see if I actually get the place…
So I finished another simple sculptie: The Rock.

The Rock and Rock Sculpture are available for L$1 on SLBoutique or SLX.
I know, I know… it’s really really simple. But I’m starting to get the hang of it. So, hopefully, in the near future we’ll see some far more complex sculptie work. Now to just come up with a project…

My Mountain…
I’ve finally uploaded my first sculptie… It may not look like much, but it is the product of hours of tutorial reading (on both Blender and making Sculptie texture). So I give to you, My First Sculptie:
Being the industrious knight I am, I decided to make My First Sculptie into a sort of triumphant trophey.
I give you the Driftwood Sculpture:

The Driftwood Sculpture is available in the usual places for a Linden. Yes, only L$1. BUt I’m only selling a couple so get one quick. Who knows, it could become a collectors item… ![]()
I haven’t made it into SL for a bit due to RL stuff (finally gonna finish getting my degree
) and I have also started to try out this new-fangled sculpted prim business. Fascinating stuff. I’m using Blender, and after a quick run through the tutorials provided, it’s not at all that difficult. Oh, and it’s free. A definite plus. So hopefully in the upcoming weeks I’ll have some sculpted projects to show off.
Also, on a side note, I have become a member of the Independent State of Caledon, and I am also hoping to finally get around to buying some land. I think it is about time to open up a small shop.
So that’s where Gaius is. Where are you?
I wanted a classier AirShip, more of an AirYacht, so the SkyBarge was conceived. I went for a minimalist design, feeling the ship should take beauty from its’ surroundings.

Right now it has my standard motor, with a better rotate to zero function (when you stand up, the vehicle parallels itself to the ground).
I’m not sure what extra features would be useful with this vehicle, but I bet I’ll think up something. It is available for purchase in the usual places (SLX, SLBoutique.. check my links).
So.. finally something finished (or at least finished enough to talk about). The ObserviSphere.

The ObserviSphere is a vehicle meant for observational travels. Plenty of space and plenty of viewing room. Easy to maneuver controls.
So thats where it’s at. I’m hoping to add a multi speed function and a better brake system (for when you observe something of interest and need to stop for a closer look). I would also like to have a ramp that extends for entry and exit. Back to work I go.
The preliminary ObserviSphere is available on SLX and SLBoutique. I’ll send out a free upgrade when I finish with the improved features.
While working on a new vehicle, I fell (quite literally) onto the VT Memorial in Fame (Fame 182, 92, 28). There are photos and biographies of the victims of this saddest tragedy, and it is definitely something worth checking out.
